Dr Chris Ibbott
Chris enjoys providing his patients with a full range of treatments and services and has a particular interest in smile enhancement and improvement using the most gentle and minimal techniques possible. Chris has participated in a number of extended training programs in aesthetic and restorative dentistry since qualifying from Sheffield University in 1997 and is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Society of Occlusal Studies. Outside of dentistry Chris is a keen musician and enjoys spending time with his family and two young daughters.
It is an interest in gentle aesthetic dentistry which led Chris to discover the Inman Aligner and the incredible benefits which it can offer patients. A relatively simple removable brace which can straighten the front teeth in, on average, 3 to 4 months was unthinkable five years ago. The Inman is now one of the most exciting services Chris can provide for his patients and , when combined with tooth whitening and bonding, this can provide some life changing results!
Also of particular interest to Chris is the study of occlusion. This is the relationship between the jaw joints and facial muscles and the dynamic function of the teeth themselves, and the effect that these can have on muscular pain and headaches.
Chris also has a special interest in orthodontics and offers fixed, including discrete and invisible, orthodontic appliances to his patients.
Combining all of the above disciplines, Chris has the tools necessary to provide beautiful, harmonious and long lasting smiles for his patients.
