Using the latest  CAD/CAM CEREC technology allows us to prepare, fabricate and fit your brand new ceramic restoration all in one visit. Normally any crown work needed in a patient’s mouth would require 2 separate visits, impressions and temporaries. Now by using the CEREC system all we need is to take a picture scan of the tooth that needs a crown , we then use the CEREC machine to design and make the restoration. As this can be done all in one visit it means that patients can leave with their beautiful natural looking ceramic restoration in place -no impressions or temporaries are needed.

We welcome to Dental Elegance experienced cosmetic dentist Dr.Majid Shahab . CARIES Indicator Dye

At Dental Elegance in sidcup we check the teeth with this special dye to make sure all the decay ( caries ) has been removed before we place the final restoration such as white fillings , porcelain onlays/inlays, crowns, veneers etc . This produces longer lasting better fitting restorations and minimal sensitivity afterwards.

Porcelain onlay are much stronger than white fillings and they can be used in many cases instead of crowns. The colour of the onlay can match your tooth exactly .Lots of our patients are asking us to remove their mercury amalgam fillings and replace them with white porcelain onlays.
