Immiediate replacement of teeth with All-on-4 implant supported bridge

Monday, September 6th, 2010

If you have teeth that are destined for removal or dentures that you cannot get on with a new technology has been develpoed called All-on-4 implants to provide you immiediate replacement teeth.

With this method complex grafting and sinus surgery is avoided with 4 implants positioned at the front of the mouth upon which an acrylic bridge is fixed on the same day as implant placement. This can later be used as a spare /temporary bridge when eventually a highly aesthetic bridge with porcelain teeth will be made that is supported by the All-on-4 implants.

Another successful Implant case

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

A 65 year old patient came to us unable to wear his dentures since he lost his teeth through gum disease. He had 6 dental implants placed in the lower jaw at Dental Elegance and Mr Dan Patel has just finished making him a fixed bridge which is fitted onto the implants and does not need removing.

The Patients comments were:

“ I can now eat anything I want and can even go swimming without fear of my teeth coming out! ”

This patient is so happy with his implant bridge he is going on to have 6 implants in the upper arch and a similar fixed bridge.

RESIN RETAINED ‘minimal preparation’ BRIDGE

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

Dr Dan Patel treated a patient from Sidcup recently who came in an emergency appointment for a broken front tooth that could not be saved. Fortuately he was able to provide a fixed bridge which is permanently bonded to the adjacent tooth via a thin wing called a Maryland Bridge . This involved no preparation  to the supporting tooth and provided a quick solution to the problem of a missing tooth. The patient may later go on to have an implant.
