This young lady from Sevenoaks came to us with several concerns. Firstly she felt her front two teeth were too long and also she did not like the white marks (fluorosis) on her front teeth. Her two central incisors had been restored in the past but the material had stained and the teeth were now darker.

We discussed a few treatment options and decided we would restore the two central incisors with porcelain laminate veneers and the lateral incisors and canines with direct composite resin. The patient whitened her teeth with a home tooth whitening system first.

She was very happy with the result and said now she can’t stop smiling. Quite a change for someone who hated smiling in photographs!

This patient was really unhappy with his lower teeth as they were very crowded and crowding was getting worse. The uneven positioning of the teeth also meant that he was unable to clean the teeth properly -this in turn was causing gum problems. The patient did not want to have any fixed braces and so opted to have an inman aligner. This was worn for 12 weeks and the teeth were then whitened. The patient is delighted with the results and not only has he got straight lower teeth but his gum health has also improved as he can now clean them easily. This gentleman had become increasingly concerned with his upper front teeth which had worn down over the years. He also was not happy with the discolouration of them. After discussing several options with him he decided to have e-MAX veneers placed on 7 front teeth with a crown on one. For this Inman aligner treatment we used an Inman aligner with a combined expander for just over 5 months following this three clear aligners were used to do some tidying up. The patient used a home tooth whitening kit and then some composite edge bonding was done on the upper six front teeth.

This patient from Kent was concerned about her crooked smile. Many patients with teeth like this often think that Veneers are their only solution.
Instead, the patient had her teeth aligned with an Inman Aligner over 11 weeks. She only needed to wear it for 16-20 hours a day meaning it can be taken out for going out and eating. She was also able to whiten her teeth at the same time- saving time which is also a big advantage over fixed braces. Straight after some simple edge bonding was carried out turning her smile into something beautiful and natural without any tooth needed to be removed.

Smile restored with a dental implant- Case by Chris Ibbott

This lady needed to have a tooth removed because it had split. We discussed the options which included a denture and a bridge and she decided that she would like a dental implant.

A few months were left for the area to heal. An implant was then placed under local anaesthetic and then the implant was restored with a crown a further 2 months later. The patient was thrilled to have her smile back intact.

Worn, Short Teeth Rebuilt To Give a Beautiful Smile

The lady in these pictures had noticed her teeth wearing down over the years. She was aware that she was grinding her teeth and hence the front teeth had become short. She came to us for advice on how to make them look nice again. She thought that porcelain veneers were her only option and was concerned about the cost. When she came in to see us she was given various options and one of these was to rebuild the teeth with composite filling material. This would be cost effective and would not require and tooth drilling. She was advised that they will wear down over time but that these could be repaired easily.

As you can see from her before and after photos the patient has gained back her great beautiful smile again.

White spot fluorosis treated with minimal porcelain veneers-Case by Chris Ibbott

This young lady had always been very self conscious about her smile and had decided it was time to do something about it.

Her teeth were affected by fluorosis which caused the white patches in the enamel of her two front teeth and some of her lower teeth.

She was treated with a combination of tooth whitening, composite bonding and porcelain veneers.

Initially she whitened her teeth with a combination of Zoom in-surgery and then home tooth whitening. In addition to this the dark tooth on the right in the photo was treated with an additional inside/outside whitening procedure.

Following the whitening the two front teeth and the dark tooth on the right in the photo were prepared for minimal porcelain veneers and the other front tooth was built up free hand by composite resin bonding.

The photographs show the patient immediately after the veneers were fitted. She was very happy with the result!
