16 week Inman aligner case- Case by Chris Ibbott

This lady from Bromley was unhappy with the crooked front teeth. She wanted her teeth straightened but did not want fixed braces. Her case took 16 weeks to complete with an upper Inman aligner. The patient then used a home whitening kit and we finished with some composite edge bonding on three of the front teeth. Job done!

This patient was really unhappy with his lower teeth as they were very crowded and crowding was getting worse. The uneven positioning of the teeth also meant that he was unable to clean the teeth properly -this in turn was causing gum problems. The patient did not want to have any fixed braces and so opted to have an inman aligner. This was worn for 12 weeks and the teeth were then whitened. The patient is delighted with the results and not only has he got straight lower teeth but his gum health has also improved as he can now clean them easily. Alignment of protruding teeth- Case by Chris Ibbott

This patient from Chislehurst was unhappy with his protruding upper teeth and was considering orthodontics. He was unsure what type of braces were suitable.

A fan screw appliance followed by an Inman Aligner were used to bring his upper teeth back in to a more upright position and greatly improve the appearance of his smile.

The patient did some home tooth whitening and then we replaced some large fillings between his front two teeth and on the front edge of the upper left lateral incisor.

For this Inman aligner treatment we used an Inman aligner with a combined expander for just over 5 months following this three clear aligners were used to do some tidying up. The patient used a home tooth whitening kit and then some composite edge bonding was done on the upper six front teeth.

This patient was unhappy with her crowded upper front teeth.

Having had a chat about the options she decided to go ahead with an Inman Aligner to correct the crowding. The treatment took about 8 weeks.

After this she did some home tooth whitening and we performed some simple direct composite edge bonding on her four front teeth.

A very short treatment time, no damage to the tooth structure and no costly veneers. The alignment phase took 10 weeks, during which the whitening was completed. The composite edge bonding took 1 visit.

End result a beautiful smile!

This young man came to us very self conscious about his crossed over front teeth.

He had thought about veneers but did not want to do any damage to his existing tooth structure and I very much agreed. Orthodontics was a much more attractive option but he was put off by the long treatment times of some invisible brace systems or fixed braces. I suggested that we use the Inman Aligner.

An Inman aligner was used over roughly 16 weeks to straighten his upper front teeth. He then used a home tooth whitening kit to really finish things off in style. We were both very happy with the result!

Protruding Tooth Corrected in 16 Weeks

This lady came in to us unhappy with her protruding upper central tooth. She had first noticed it start to stick out some years back and had watched on as it had progressively got worse over time, thinking there was no treatment for it. In fact her own dentist had told her there was nothing she could do. When she came in to see us she was advised to have an Inman Aligner. The treatment took just 16 weeks, no drilling was required and no teeth needed to be removed. She was delighted with the result.

Teeth gone crooked after braces as a child. Fixed in 14 weeks!-Case by Chris Ibbott

This young lady used to have perfectly straight front teeth having worn fixed braces as a child. The teeth weren’t retained properly after the orthodontics though and as a result they drifted out of position. She was understandably very keen to get them back to how they used to be.

An Inman Aligner was used to gently move the teeth back into position. During this process the teeth were whitened using a simple home tooth whitening system and to finish things off the upper right front tooth had its tip restored with composite bonding and some mild tooth reshaping was carried out. The upper left lateral incisor was build up with a composite resin veneer to improve its shape.

The teeth are now fixed in place with a wire retainer bonded onto the inner surface of the upper front teeth. The patient was very happy with the final result!

This lady was unhappy with her upper front tooth that crossed over her lower teeth. For many years she had wanted to get it treated but she was not sure what her options were. She feared that she may just have to live with it until she heard about us at Dental Elegance and came in for a chat with one of the dentists. She was advised that there was a simple non invasive solution in the form of a removable brace called the Inman Aligner. She was very keen to have the treatment and was happy that it was cost effective. Following about 4 months of treatment you can see the amazing difference. The patient was delighted with the result. From lacking in confidence to grinning from ear to ear in less than four months! This gentleman was very unhappy with the appearance of his front teeth, particularly the one that was stuck right back behind the rest of his teeth. He really didn’t want to wear fixed braces, feeling that they were unsightly and that they’d affect his confidence even more. He also knew that it would take many months to complete the treatment. We felt that we could help him with an Inman Aligner although the treatment would be a compromise and fixed braces would give a more ‘ideal’ result.

His teeth were aligned using the removable, inman aligner in less than 4 months. He also whitened his teeth during the alignment process and then to finish we corrected the outline of his two chipped, worn front teeth with some composite bonding. A little contouring of the edges of a couple of teeth finished the case. The whole treatment took less than 4 months and at a cost of £2500. The powerful concept of Alignment/ Bleaching/ Bonding (ABB) in action!

He’s getting married next year and we can’t wait to see the photos!
