Today Neelam Patel recieved a thank you card from a patient whose treatment she completed a few weeks ago. Sarah had an inman aligner to correct her crooked front teeth, she travelled to our practice from Essex every 3 to 4 weeks . She was so pleased with the results that she went on to have her teeth whitened using our professional home whitening kit and then had an old veneer replaced. This patient from Brighton wanted a better smile. In many cosmetic practices, she would have simply have had her front teeth cut down to stumps and had 4 crowns or more placed over the front teeth. While they might have looked great, there would have been hardly any tooth left underneath.
Instead, she chose to have her front teeth aligned with an Inman Aligner first. Her teeth straightened in only 3 months. This meant that when the veneers were placed, much less tooth needed to be removed and very thin strong veneers could be placed. Her other teeth were whitened and her smile makeover was complete.
This type of treatment is called Pre-Alignment and is being pioneered by Dr. Tif Qureshi and many other dentists who have been certified to use the the Inman Aligner. Tif will be teaching this principle in LA and Chicago soon.
Because the Inman Aligner is so rapid and safe, so many patients who would have had their teeth cut back for veneers can now have a better more conservative option.

Dr. Tif Qureshi from Dental Elegance in Kent, will be lecturing at the World Aesthetic Congress hosted by Independant seminars this weekend.
He will be lecturing with renowned dental technician Tony Knight from Knight Dental Design to highlight how their unique relationship has managed to move the world of ethical cosmetic dentistry forward.
Being able to move teeth effectively into better positions before performing cosmetic dentistry has always been the holy grail in aesthetics. Sometimes teeth look so good after movement that no other treatment is needed at all. When they do, the teeth at least will be in the best possible position so porcelain veneers can be as thin and minimally invasive as possible.
This means that smile makeovers can be truly conservative and the days of preparing teeth to stumps are gone.

Dr. Tif Qureshi was interviewed on Radio 2 this evening at 6.30 on the drive time show in Foxy’s innovations slot talking about Inman Aligners.
Radio 2 realized that the Inman Aligner was something special and contacted him for an interview early on Friday morning. The interview would go out LIVE on R2 t 6.30 pm.
The title of the slot was “a revolution in cosmetic dentistry”
